User:Dr John Wells
Initially, John was a doctoral researcher in the Department of Clinical Medicine at Oxford University based at the Churchill Hospital Research Institute. Now, he is a retired research radiation biophysicist from Berkeley Nuclear Laboratories (Gloucestershire) living in West Lothian. Since 2007, John has been a kite aerial photographer running West Lothian Aerial Archaeology and, from 2012 to 2019, he was the chairman of the West Lothian Archaeological Trust. Following the death of his wife in 2013, he initiated and managed Rosie's Scottish National Aerial Photography Scheme (UK & Ireland), SNAPS, which ran from 2013 to 2016.
